LET'S HANG OUT AT TRAM MOUNTAIN, NEXT TO HANOI

For those who do not have much time and only a certain amount of money, the Tram mountain area  is a very suitable tourist destination. It has both charming mountain scenery and temples as well as stone niches used as picnic places or BBQ parties.

Where is Tram mountain area?

Tram Mountain is located about 25km from Hanoi, in Phung Chau Commune, Chuong My District, Hanoi. Visitors who want to go to Tram Mountain will follow Highway 6 in the direction of Hoa Binh, passing Mai Linh Bridge. Continue to Bien Giang Ward and continue to see signs of Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports.

Visitors turn to the road with this sign, go about 5km more will see Tram mountain. Because the road is quite easy to be located outside of Hanoi, visitors to motorbike to Tram Mountain is the most convenient. On the way, visitors will see dike roads with green grass and buffalos are grazing, the scenery is peaceful.

No motorbikes, visitors can catch the bus. However, taking a bus to Tram Mountain is inconvenient because from Hanoi visitors have to take two buses, and then have to take a motorbike taxi to visit Tram Pagoda and the nearby Tram Gian temple.

The beauty of Tram Mountain

Among the tourist destinations in Hanoi  , Tram mountain is often referred to as a place with both peaceful and poetic scenery. As a population of 9 not very high mountains, Tram mountain has trails created by the footprints of many climbers for a long time.

Interspersed with those trails are bumpy white cliffs and lush green vegetation. Tram Mountain is located between immense fields, surrounded by the blue Day River and the beautiful villages, so the scenery is very beautiful.

Conquering Tram Mountain is not too difficult because the altitude of the mountains is moderate. However, because there are many tops and the area is quite wide, visitors also need good health to climb all. When climbing to the top of the mountain, visitors will see the eye is widened to vast fields, the houses become tiny and the cool breeze makes the hearts of people more relaxed and comfortable.

When staying overnight, early in the morning you will see the sunrise on the very beautiful mountains, there are days when there is a white mist. And in the afternoon, when the sunset falls, the scenery of the hills and countryside becomes even more peaceful. Because of the poetic landscape, many tours in Hanoi  have chosen Tram mountain as a sightseeing place for their tourists.

What to play in Tram Mountain?

- Camping : Visitors can bring tents, picnic gear or rent them at the foot of the mountain. There is a store for renting everything from charcoal stoves, grills to tents, chopsticks ...

- Making BBQ party : Guests can bring food and into the stone niches here to make the barbecue quite romantic. The spacious, wild scenery of the mountain makes the barbecue party even more interesting.

- Picnic : Visitors can bring drinking water, snacks to Tram Mountain and drop themselves into the fresh air here and enjoy the dishes that bring with them, the feeling is also very interesting.

- Visiting the complex of Tram Pagoda: Tram Pagoda is a complex of many temples located on the top of Tram Mountain, including Tram Pagoda, Hang Pagoda and Vo Vi Pagoda. Tram Pagoda is an old temple, built from the 16th century so it looks very ancient. The back of the pagoda is based on the Tram mountain range, the front is facing the clear Day river so Tram pagoda is covered with cliffs and canopy of shade.

The atmosphere here is cool all year round, the temples and the mountains combine in harmony. To the right of the pagoda is Long Tien cave, in which there is Hang Pagoda. The cave arch is quite high so the space is spacious and airy. In the cave there are also many stalactites with various shapes and different colors. Under daylight, the scenery is even more fancy.

From Tram Pagoda to Vo Vi Mountain is a few hundred steps. Vo Vi Mountain is a small rock mountain, separated from Tram mountain range. Vo Vi Pagoda is located on a mountain. The pagoda is quite small but has a unique architecture because it was built in about 1514 and is still preserved to this day. On the cliff side there is a bell cast in 1814.

Visitors from Vo Vi Pagoda, step a step more stone steps to Nghenh Phong floor. Immense scenery will appear before the eyes of visitors in a quiet, peaceful space to heart.
